ABOUT OUR ON BOARD LAP TIMING SYSTEMS

We carry a complete line of on board lap timing systems, both with and without driver displays. Our timing systems can be used in conjunction with our data acquisition systems to automatically insert lap times into the software, OR they can be used separately without a data acquisition system.

BUYER BEWARE! We only recommend systems that will work dependably on large race tracks with beacons that can reach 120 feet. With many “other” systems the beacon range is only 60 feet, and are sold to racers who end up disappointed in the dependability of the system.

This is our most popular system!

Double Extended Range Beacon, 60 Lap memory, .01 accuracy, with recall.

This is a complete lap timing system which includes:

1. A double extended range trackside beacon.

2. A small mini dash display that can display lap number and lap times simultaneously.

For size reference, the dash display is also pictured above mounted in center of 10” racing wheel.

3. On car receiver which receives signal from trackside beacon, and holds a standard 9 Volt battery and on/off switch used to power the system.

4. Wiring Harness

This is a stand alone system and DOES NOT require any additional components to operate.

Battery for Double Extended Range Beacon: The Double Extended Range beacon requires a 12 Volt battery to operate. We offer a Sealed 12 Volt battery (pictured above) that can fit in your pocket and can be recharged with a standard 12 Volt battery charger. This saves your crew the time and energy

carrying a non-sealed acid motorcycle or automotive battery to the pits.

This battery will supply hours of use without recharging. $40
